Ready for another delicious Lily recipe? Our new Berry Delicious Smoothie is loaded with great flavors and essential nutrients to help support your immune system. Time to fire up the blender!
Key Ingredients for Improved Immunity
Fruits like Blueberries, Strawberries, and Raspberries are great sources of Vitamin C and antioxidants. As many natural cellular processes in our body create waste in the form of free radicals, antioxidants work to clear these issues and reduce any inflammation that may arise.
Oranges also have high Vitamin C content, which is thought to help white blood cell production. Plus, they’re perfect for peeling and dividing directly into the mix.
Almond Milk contains Vitamins A, D, and E. These three ingredients will give your immune system a big push for enhanced protection. Try for the unsweetened version, since the fruit used here will provide all the sweetness you crave.
Chia Seeds aren’t just a fun way to add texture to your smoothie. They’re known to be rich in antioxidants and can help balance your gut health, and thus naturally improving the strength of your immune system.
Finally, Lily’s Aloe Vera Juice has over 200 biologically-active components like vitamins, enzymes, amino acids, and polysaccharides. Each of these elements offer great benefits like balanced digestion, helping to increase nutrient absorption, and, of course, healthy immunity. Plus, with the addition of Aloesorb, our products are clinically proven to help increase immune support, nutrient absorption, antioxidant support and detoxification!

Why Add Aloe Vera?
While you might not think of aloe as a great addition to a smoothie, it’s an excellent choice when it comes to supplementing your delicious creation. Aloe contains many vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin B, C, and E, which are great for boosting immune support. It’s also one of the few plant sources of Vitamin B-12.
With any recipe, it’s important to make sure the things you’re putting into your body are nutritious, and not relying on unnecessary empty calories. Aloe vera juice is perfect to add in to give your drink a much-needed infusion of essential nutrients.
