The Quality Control Analyst will report to our Senior Quality Control Manager and is responsible for monitoring, recording and reporting information regarding product quality. This position works in conjunction with quality assurance, production, and inventory to ensure product standards and specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Follow all standard operating procedures and safety regulations in accordance with cGMPs.
- Ensure that in-coming raw materials are received, sampled, tested, and released according to company standard operating procedures.
- Perform routing monitoring for temperature and Relative Humidity on designated areas.
- Perform quality inspections of bulk products in accordance with specifications prior to packing.
- Perform packaging components inspections in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Ensure balances and lab test equipment is calibrated in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Assist in identifying GMP deficiencies and non-conformances.
- Perform other similar or related duties as necessary.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Legible charting and documentation skills.
- Experience in food or dietary supplement manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to regularly lift in excess of 25 lbs, sit, stand and move about the facility
- Effective communication skills (written/verbal) with all levels of the organization

The Quality Assurance Line Technician reports to our Quality Assurance Manager and is responsible for a wide variety of duties related to product inspections and sampling of finished products. Quality Assurance Technicians assist in the maintenance of overall product quality and safety.
This role assures the effective completion and documentation of Quality Assurance responsibilities and controls quality operations and production throughout the plant. Strong communication skills are necessary in order to effectively address issues and necessary corrective action procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Follow all standard operating procedures and safety regulations in accordance with cGMPs.
- Ensure that in-coming packaging components are received, quarantined, sampled, tested, and released according to company standard operating procedures.
- Perform quality inspections of finished products in accordance with specifications during the packing process.
- Measuring and monitoring temperature, weight, pH, metal detection, density, ATP and other quality checkpoints on a scheduled and as needed basis.
- Perform packaging line inspections in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Ensure lab test equipment is calibrated in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Notifying Shift Supervisor of process deviations.
- Notifying Shift Supervisors and/or Management when production is (or will be) outside of control parameters.
- Collecting samples of unfinished and finished product Accurately completing paperwork related to HACCP plan and quality standards
- Assuring food safety standards with regards to GMPs and HACCP plan are being followed by self and fellow employees.
- Must be able to interpret testing data related to production specification and make decisions based off this information.
- Assist with compliance to GFSI standards by completion of internal audits. Audit may include GMP, Facility, and Security.
- Other duties as may be necessary

Working in our Analytical Services Department, Analytical Technicians are responsible for a wide variety of duties related to research and product development including testing of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples while ensuring compliance to cGLP and cGMP standards. This position reports to the Analytical Services Supervisor in our Quality Control Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Responsible for day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring all SOPs, GLPs and GMPs are followed by all personnel.
- Test raw materials, bulk goods, and finished goods following corresponding specifications and using approved methods
- Ensure maintenance on instrumentation is carried out and completed on a scheduled basis.
- Operate and maintain instrumentation such as: HPLC, GC, UV, ICP-MS among others
- Responsible for root cause analysis of OOS and aberrant results
- Interpret analytical data and undertake necessary action to address OOS results
- Validate internal methods that are developed and work in internalizing methodology to reduce external costs
- Cross-functional training of new hires
- Perform other similar or related duties as necessary
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or degree in related science or technical field
- Experience in bench chemistry, and cGMPs
- Must be proficient in MS Office
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Demonstrated experience in a laboratory environment
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
