Well, we can’t send you on a trip to Bermuda, but we can take your taste buds on a little journey. This is our Playa Papaya smoothie recipe and it’s loaded with flavors from the more exotic side of the colder months. Papaya fruit takes center stage in this production, and it’s rich, buttery consistency and healthy dose of vitamin C are the perfect addition to a winter-time smoothie. Freshly juiced carrots and an orange help balance out the sweetness, and kiwi and coconut water bring home the tropical vibe. Adding our aloe Vera juice ensures your body is getting the most out of all the healthful vitamins this smoothie has to offer. Warning: you should probably find an indoor hammock somewhere to enjoy this on.
Playa Papaya Smoothie
- 1 large orange, peeled and quartered
- 2 kiwi fruits, peeled and quartered
- ½ papaya, peeled, seeded, and roughly chopped
- ½ cup coconut water
- juice of 2-3 carrots
- 2 ounces Lily of the Desert Aloe Vera Juice
Directions: Blend all ingredients together with ice. Garnish with a kiwi wheel.
